MSD's Street Fire Distributor for Chevrolet small and big blocks, is a high performance HEI style ignition, with vacuum and centrifugal mechanical advance, with coated weights and welded weight pins - not just pressed in like other models. The .491in iron distributor gear is the same gear used on Pro-Billet models. Inside, the magnetic pick-up ignition module and coil work together to produce a huge spark, which is transferred through a heavy duty rotor to the brass terminals of the distributor cap and out to the plugs via a male HEI terminal, with full power through to 9000rpm when used with the MSD8364 module. Maximum volts 42000, peak current 200mA, primary resistance .31 ohms.
